One of the best courses in undergraduate psychology. Interesting content, very helpful lecturer ( always responded to emails) and exceptionally well- organised. Though I found his use of double negatives in quiz and exam questions annoying.
I found this course very usefull in rounding out my understanding of psychological measurement. I think it is extremely important to a psychology degree. Mark is an excellent lecturer who does everything to ensure that students can thrive in this course. I definitely think the way the course is taught has a huge impact on the course difficulty. The structure was well balanced in terms of where assessment was placed, and expectations were made explicit along the way.
I was unable to attend some of the letures in person, and found that the lecture videos were easy to engage with at home and no content was lost.
For anyone looking for practicality of psychology and how tests are being used in the real world, look no further for advice and clear explanations. His approach to teaching is very engaging and I would recommend taking any course Mark teaches
